Antiwork

I am a nurse who loves the work I do. I also consider doing housekeeping’s job to be a form of “crossing the picket line.”

I don't clean patient rooms. It's not below me. I'm physically capable of it. I don't do it because if housekeeping: aren't getting paid enough and aren't being treated well enough for there to be enough people to get that job done, Then I refuse to assume responsibility for that situation because a) seriously, just pay your employees properly and treat them decently b) we all know I'm not gonna get a dime of the money you saved by abusing and chasing off those employees. We all know you're gonna dump that task on me and pocket the savings. I'm not playing that game.
