I am about to resign without giving two weeks notice. Any tips for securing PTO payout?

I have been working at a law firm for nearly a year, but I am moving back to my old job because of mental health. My first day will be May 2nd. I will resign today (haven't done so yet) and give them until Friday so that I can rest for a week. I live in Florida, where paying out PTO is not enforced by law (total bullshit, I earned that money). This law firm is small, so there is no employee handbook or any details on their policy for paying out PTO. I have not taken any vacation or sick days. Do you have any tips for getting my PTO paid out despite the fact I cannot give a two weeks notice? Any help would be much appreciated. If there is no PTO payout, I am tempted to just take an emergency vacation and never come back.
