So I have been at a job for a couple months now, picking up shifts, staying late, doing other jobs outside my description. This employer has a sheet that is made for “Requesting Time Off” & if its not filled out and approved, you are scheduled to work.
So about a month ago, I requested my brothers birthday off and as you know it got denied. Slightly infuriating but no biggie I can take him to brunch the next morning. Then rolls this month and my Easter is this upcoming weekend. I requested it off a week in advance with them already aware and of course denied again.
I have been told by just about everyone there that I am one of the favorite workers and hardest worker they have seen. I do work the most hours for anyone else in my job description and am given these extra tasks because they know I will get them done.
Well, I have gone out of my way many times for this employer and they cant help me once? I see how we are playing.
So, today's shift I get to go in and tell my manager my last day is Friday and then witness the shock in their faces. I then get to lay all the shit they've taken advantage of me for and explain how much of a shitty capitalistic company they are.
I was already looking for a new job when I found out new hirees are getting paid better than me who has multiple years of experience in the industry. This company is going to crumble in my hands when I tell them of this news and I am all for it.
Im excited for all the havoc this will bestow upon them. Love for my coworkers but managers and owners can suck my limp penis.
