The union that I am in just voted and affirmed a new 4 year contract, about a 13% raise over those four years, basically works out to be about a $4-$5 rause for most people. And a restructuring of how sick days are given out for people in their first 5 years.
Note: the company originally came to the table offering 0% raise, switching from a pension to 401k, and increasing healthcare contributions from like 8% to +20%.
