I am quitting, and I feel sorry. Could I do more?

Hi Everyone! I head the Data Science and Analytics section of a unicorn. I have decided to resign from my current work due to a bunch of issues I have noticed with the management above me. Firstly, I have noticed that the sales team sometimes commit things that we have not dealt with in the past. Challenges are always nice.

We put our best efforts to turn them into realities, but that doesn't always happen. When it doesn't work out, blame is on my team of talented young engineers. When it works out, sales team gets the praise.

Secondly, I have noticed that there exists a selective favouritism in the company. While I benifit a lot from this, as it is in my favor (at an individual level) most of the new (fresh) employees are at a huge disadvantage. This includes the kind of hotels and travel plans that they are allowed during work travels by the company. Things like them getting cheap accomodations and uncomfortable ways to travel and all.

I have always fought for the employees under me. I have worked 48 hours straight with just breaks to take a dump in my time and I take pride in saying not a single employee has to work more than 7.5 hour a day in my team. I take pride in knowing that we do not have to call a person on their day off or think twice before approving a day off.

I tried to fight with the management to get the above aspects fixed, but I was denied. But I cannot in good faith work here anymore.

With my leaving, I know for a fact that my team is at a huge disadvantage. I know I am putting them up to be chewed up. I don't know what to do.

What are certain things I could do to help my team?
