I am hoping for some tips. The starting pay is $16. I work in a hospital kitchen with 40ish job openings rn. The works, union, and head of the department want a raise for us but from what my department head says, HR doesnt want to give us this raise. We are around Minneapolis. I am bringing in job ads for $16 and up. My job requires a background check to get in. I also plan to break down what living on $16 looks like. Any advice please help. I am super nervous.
