I work for a software company with great salary and benefits. I live a very comfortable life. But it is depressing seeing others in US face such horrible work cultures. I despise corporates (even though I work for one) who makes millions but are not even empathetic towards their employees.
I saw a post regarding a women asking for leave because her child is on life support. Her manager denied her and expected her to continue working. She posted the conversations on social media which went viral and they company sided with the women and fired the manager. This was completely possible only because the post went viral and public outrage causing low google ratings.
I think if someone facing discrimination from an employer, they can just share company details here, we can all just post negative ratings on Google making them take some action.
Do you think this is something that can work a bit?
