I am literally in awe. I’m in college trying to find a new job due to some things changing at my current one. I’m a manager in food service and I’ve never seen anything like this. On Indeed, there are certain aptitude tests that an employer can request you take, such as a managerial or customer service aptitude test. However, I hadn’t taken this one yet, and when I opened it I was absolutely shocked.
It had questions like “what would this shape look like if it was turned 90* clockwise?” Or “Match the numbers in the circle to the numbers in the box.” It also asked questions like “Do you prefer to work alone or with others?” Or “Do you have a routine that you must follow every day?”
As a psychology student, these questions are obvious to me that they are trying to weed out autistic people or (maybe) people with learning disabilities. What the fuck? How is that okay?
