I applied for a job in early-mid Dec 2021. I get a call the next day and talk to a rep who sends me a Google form to re-apply for the job. And then I’d hear from them in a week. Nothing, I’m ghosted.
Apr 21, 2022 I get an email wanting an immediate Zoom meeting about the position. It’s some flaky woman working at home chatting with me with pointless bullshit. She doesn’t ask any questions and asks me what my family thinks of me. She then tells me I’d hear from someone next week. Nothing, I’m ghosted.
Late May 2022 this next step manager contacts me for a Zoom call, but she doesn’t show up at all. I sit on the call. Nothing. I email her if things are ok. No response. Late June the manager returns my email. Wants an immediate Zoom call. This woman was an old Karen complete with resting bitch face. She didn’t say anything the entire meeting. No questions. I was expected to somehow make this meeting work. She acted like she didn’t want to be there. Gives one-word answers, looking to be unimpressed. I tell her everything I know and she tells me the director would contact me next week. Guess what? Doesn’t happen I’m ghosted.
I have started a new job with another company in mid-Jul that I applied for in May. I wasn’t sitting on my ass waiting like an idiot. This pay is significantly higher than this company ghosting me.
Yesterday, I get an email from the director, the final step. I applied for this in Dec, and it was nothing but 8 months of ghosting and 20 min Zoom meetings. He wants a Zoom meeting and with resting bitch face woman and flaky woman. I didn’t tell him I’m in a new job.
I want to waste this guys time. How do I do it?
