I asked my boss “do you trust me?”

I was hired at this new place and in the first two months it was one thing or another ware she would ask questions that felt off. I am a trucker and fill up the truck at the pump. I usually would go when I have a quarter tank left because I don’t want to end up stranded. One day I was on E and filled it up and it was 250.00 instead of 180.00.

Mind you, they gave me a company card that only works at specific gas locations and can only purchase gas.
It only works at the pump.

She asks me “what did you buy at the gas station?” I’m like “..gas.”

She says “how come it was more than last time?”

And I just about had it with her. So I said “you know, for the short time that I have been working here, I feel like I’m not trusted. Do you trust me?”

He says “it’s not about trust, it’s the costumer asking for bla bla bla bla. Yes I trust you.”

She obviously doesn’t. But after that comment. She hasn’t given me shit since.

So word of advice for you guys. Be polite, but blunt as hell.
