I automated some portions of my job, tasks that took hours now take seconds. Which has a knock on effect that we can cycle the automation after making changes and do a better job for our clients. I passed some, not all of this knowledge to my boss. Yesterday afternoon I rang my boss, it took him a while to answer and he had clearly been having a little sleep. I think my automation is appreciated.
