I know this is anti-work, but I wanted to share a victory amongst other struggling workers
I've been working for my boss for almost 6 years now and that's not for no reason. Constant raises that compete with other companies in my field, he's super calm even in stressful situations, always has a bright outlook…
I started getting worried that I would never be able to “rise the ranks” in any job because I didn't think I was worthy. But my boss saw quality in me, stayed patient with me over the years, worked with me, and has shown me what it's like to be a good boss
I'll be managing a mobile food cart with 1 or 2 other people per shift, 3-4 workers total, but already I've had the 2 people I worked with today tell me they think I'm doing a great job and they're glad I'm manager
Anyway, I wanted to share this victory with y'all. Hope is out there, you just gotta keep looking
