So my work gave me a form to waive my meal breaks I don't like lunch breaks so I signed them agreeing to opt out of meal breaks.
The policy has apparently been changed almost a month ago and so I have been forced to lose 30 minutes a day that I worked. The only notice I got of this change was in a text in a group chat with like 40 active participants. So I never even saw the message saying there was a change.
Was this legally how they should have done this? It was even backdated to a day before that text so I lost 30 minutes a day before they announced it. This whole time I've been working without a lunch.
Trying to keep things a bit tight lipped right now due to the circumstances potentially requiring a lawyer.
