I was fired yesterday from my job for “tardiness” (9 minutes). I tried to explain to them that recently my medication was switched and it’s been ruining my sleep schedule but they ignored me. I feel like I’m being discriminated against because of my sickness.
I’m in the United States, in Maryland
EDIT: since this is unclear there was never an issue brought to me, except cursing on site A SINGLE TIME, which I took full responsibility and ate shit for. I have good report with the customers, passed all my certs with flying colors, and the entire “tardiness” issue, is contained within the last 3 weeks.
