Just felt like sharing my own personal fight against a shitty employer. I managed to score an interview with my former employer and just to make sure nothing came up to make me late, I called in to my current job today. They knew I had this interview scheduled, and they were pissed. But because they think their employees are fucking children, they gave us a “get out of jail free” card to each of us during our orientation and I fully intend to hand it in to them tomorrow with a shit eating grin on my face. They've shown me that they don't respect me, so I owe them absolutely no respect either. I feel bad for making the day harder on my coworkers, but honestly I also feel empowered.
