I've asked my boss for a pay increase however he told me I cannot get one because others on my team may find out I'm on more than them. This translates to I can't get a pay increase because others on my team exist. It means my individual performance cannot be evaluated without considering the others on my team. What do you guys think about this? I'm severely disappointed. It's already infuriating enough to work in a job where someone else determines my financial potential.
