So I've been trying to get fired for the last couple weeks. I can't afford to work for this place anymore. I have to drive 66 miles each way to get here… Ive Sprinkled in some snide remarks, and inappropriate jokes, and have basically done my wages worth of work for the day, and no more. The result of my belligerence, was not being fired. But rather my boss complimenting me on how confident I've been lately.
They do need me and that's their reality. They're underpaying me as is, and I know this because I asked the person who used to do my job what they were getting. I'm underemployed as is…and of course they can't afford a raise.
How do I get unemployment if I can't get fired? I've thought about distributing union papers in an effort to get our shirt tucker boss to fire me. He's got a short fuse and I think I could bait him into it.
Also, I'd like to add the owner of the company owns a texico gas station… I do not work at a gas station. He has no employees that work at this gas station. As it's a private texico gas station he has because he likes the way it looks.
