I quit my old job about 3 months ago and got a job at a better company with a $17K pay raise. At the time this was amazing for me because I had to work in a less stressful environment and get paid a lot more …. THATS UNTIL I SAW MY PAY STUB. I had so much money taken out for taxes that I ended up only receiving a check for $300 more than what I would receive at my old job. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!!!!!!!
HOW ARE WE EXPECTED TO LIVE AND SURVIVE WITH THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY. It’s insane how suffocating it can feel to live paycheck to paycheck. I don’t understand how anyone can save up money and at the same time pay for rent, bills, insurance groceries, etc. This is just fucking nuts I can’t believe that this is real life!!!!
I work my ass off just to pay off my stupid ass credit card that I’m forced to use just to afford basic life needs and then I’m left with practically nothing for the next two weeks.. and then I REPEAT the process. WTF IS GOING ON HERE!!!!!! I can’t do this anymore!!!!
