I can’t walk after work: should I quit?

I just started a new job at a busy cafe in my city’s downtown. My friend got me the job but failed to tell me that my shift is 6AM-1:30PM (I get up at 5AM for the commute), we have one 10-15 minute break at 10:30, and the rest of the time is standing on a cement floor. I’m not the type to complain, and I’ve worked some seriously shitty jobs before, but I have two torn meniscus and nearly flat feet. I only worked today (was sick yesterday) and I physically have a hard time walking without staggering in pain. I just don’t seem to think that $12/h plus $40/day in tips are really worth ruining my body when I have no health insurance and can’t afford to fix the ones I already have. Am I being too weak or is quitting reasonable?
