I could use some advice on retaliation

So I work at a call center. I recently went to HR regarding an issue I had with my manager and since then I have a strong feeling my manager is retaliating and trying to make my job more miserable. Us agents have the ability to see who is ready and waiting for a call and for how long. I noticed ever since going to HR that I have been getting calls assigned to me on a priority basis. For example, I’ll be in an available state for 30 seconds, a colleague has been in an available state for 10, 20, even up to 30 minutes.

Despite them having been queued for far longer, I get the next incoming call. We are both at the same job tier and he gets along with the manager very well due to being a kiss ass.

I have also verified that within the phone software we use the admin(my boss) has the ability to put specific agents at higher priority for incoming calls so I know this is something that from a software standpoint can be done.

I’m not about to let my manager get away with this after all the bullshit they have put me through. I understand that this type of behavior is illegal and I want to take legal action.

The reason I have come to you fine folks is I’m looking for suggestions on how I can obtain evidence that this is being done. I’m pretty sure I’ll have to trick my manager into spilling the beans because I don’t believe I can get proof otherwise. How would you go about trying to get them to admit this has been done? While my manager is extremely dumb I don’t think they would be stupid enough to admit they did it because I went to HR but that would be ideal. I at least want them to admit that they put me at a higher priority and then I’ll see where I can go from there legally.
