So I'm about to just quit this job honestly. I essentially applied outside of my department because of a creep at work who, when I addressed it with my supervisor how this guy is sexually harassing people they said they would look into it. Never did. A week later I applied outside of my department for a management position. I am definitely qualified for the position, have had management experience before and the HR said they were strongly going to push for me getting this job. I saw my position even posted online after my interview. So everything was looking good.
Fast forward I end up making a complaint to a higher up manager because mine did absolutely nothing and I had enough. This guy was going on about his creepy sex addiction and everything. Well HR gets involved and I had to make a statement to them. They told me they have suspended the guy but not sure what they are going to do with him going forward.
End of the week comes and I get a letter stating I did not get the other position. Not only is this maddening because 1) I have all the experience to get the job, 2) HR was strongly pushing for me to get it, 3) Letter stated my interview was not the issue but they promoted someone else..which is shit cause they had posted the position outside of the company already, 4) I potentially have to work with this creep again if they don't fire him.
What should I do? Quit? Maybe they'll fire me. Either way I'm not working with this guy.
