I just finished up day 6 of having covid. I had 103 fever for 3 of those days. My boss would call me twice a day checking in to see what work I've gotten done. I'd always give him the same answer of “none”. Id sleep for a lot during the day and would be upset it would take me hours to call him back. Now that I'm feeling better, I'm actually able to get some stuff done. My boss asks when was the last time I saw, not talk to, but physically see a specific customer in person. I tell them two weeks ago (since I was out for covid last week) and he lost his shit. Telling me that's unacceptable because I should be seeing customers every week. After explaining what a fever of 103 does to someone, he proceeded to tell me how it doesn't make sense that I'm vaccinated and still got a bad case of it. Am I in the wrong for thinking my boss is an absolute dick for treating what I had as a runny nose and thinking I was sitting at home with my toes in the sand?
