Gave them a bad review but I still need to blow steam off.
So reason of my bad review.
I got accepted for an interview at 8AM at a animal rescue place, its a small family owned place.
I thought Once I go in there I'll sign the forms and come back the next day for training.
But nope. The very moment I go inside im greeted to a staff who starts demanding me to pick up poop by hand with bag ofc. (Now I know its part of the job) but im not even working there yet. It felt more like volunteer not only did I do every kennel work I also had to clean a bunch of big dusty fans. For free as well. I feel like I was taken advantage of. Mind you, I've been doing that since 8am to 1pm. For free.
Just to give out my email and phone number to later get a message on indeed saying they're interviewing more candidates, that they'll get back in touch with me. Like dudee
Just hire me first already and then interview the next ones. I just feel very offended.
Am I overreacting or do I have the right to feel offended.
Moral of the story, Waking up at 7am to arrive at 8am clean poop clean floor clean dusted fans that I was supposed to clean more than 2 but 1pm came. So I only cleaned 2 fans. Then be asked what's your name? Put your email and phone number. Thank you for all your help we were so short staffed. I leave payless.
