I feel swindled by job ad . Any tips

My old supervisor turned close friend told me about a remote position with a company that a friend of hers was managing . The job was right up my alley with experience . I had a great interview and got the job . Now that it is time to start training , I was told it would be two days remote and then in the office for live training the rest of the week and the rest to be discussed . I have no problem going into the office for the remainder of one week but their headquarters is FARRRRRRRR away from home and would be such a hassle .

I reached out via email to clarify but I have not heard anything back and it is now day 2 of no response . If this is note remote I won’t be able to keep this job and I would be a little upset considering the application said remote ONLY .

Does it seem promising that it only mentioned “live training” and not anything further .
