Quick backstory: I was fired from a shit job because I had covid and called out of work to get tested (which wasn’t their policy and they wanted me to come to work and wear a mask in a negative 15 degree freezer). Upon returning my then manager tells me I no longer work there and to leave. No sooner did I walk through my door at home did he send me a text asking how I am feeling. Emotional and feeling defeated, I just let him have it and it felt so good.
Two days later he was either fired or quit, nobody is certain. I’ve since found an amazing opportunity for employment and have honestly never been happier.
Do not hesitate to tell the bad ones off. Some people need to be checked. Fuck you, Steve.
