Two weeks ago I put in a written request for a vacation day in late November. I received a notice that my request was denied due to it being “past the month of October.”
A few days after I was denied, I noticed on the schedule that a coworker was given a vacation day for the same day I was trying to get off. I asked this coworker if it was a planned request from months ago or if she recently requested it. I come to find out that she verbally asked for the day, and was granted it, and it was requested days AFTER I put in for it.
This is very minor compared to other things that gets posted here but I’m actually really annoyed by this and 100% about to call out that day
