I just started this job about a month ago. You know when you get to a hotel and the towels are all folded and stuff. I'm that guy. I actually enjoy it. It's low impact on my spine. I work over nights with no one else in the hotel. What really bothers me. Is that I am having to drive 15 mins one way for a 30 min meeting just to drive back. I'm only paid for the 30 mins. That 6 dollars doesn't even cover gas. If I don't go. To a surprise meeting in 2 days I get written up. I had just started PT today and it's 3 times a week. I had to call and reschedule my appointment and eat a 30 dollar rescheduling fee. So now. I'm -24 dollars (minimum not including the gas L) over a meeting that probably has nothing to do with me. Because I just started.
Meetings at 8 30. My appointment was at 8.
The 6 dollars would go to 1.6ish gallons of gas (e85)
30 dollars reschedule.
Then having to drive back out to my PT at 11. (my physical therapy is across the street from my job)
I'm already out 43 bucks now. I hate it.
