I work at a run of the mill small gas station. I take a break for a weekend and come back and find out I have COVID from home testing after I felt awful. Told my boss that I might be out for a week (how long I thought it would be to test negative again). Boss says “ok keep me updated”. 2 days go by, and I am scheduled to work today. Boss calls asking if I am coming in. “No, I literally have an infectious disease”. Boss assumed that since I didnt update them after telling them I was positive, that I was negative 3 days after I last spoke to them. I hate my job.
