I got dress coded and now my boss enforces the dress code so everyone thinks it was because of me.

I work at an electronics store that is mostly teenagers and people that go to my school. Technically the dress code is slacks/dress shirt/tie. I wore a tie for the first few days but most people skipped the tie so I stopped wearing one. The other day I was called into my manager's office and he generally said I was doing pretty well, but he wanted to remind me that the dress code requires a tie. The next day, he announced although he's been slack on enforcing, ties are required and everyone is required to be on walkies at all times. Not wearing a tie and not having a walkie and not using an earpiece is no longer acceptable and is an automatic write up.

My coworkers are beings puds about it, one said if I had known I was going to talk to him, I should of worn a tie, even though I had no idea he would pull me aside. I walked in this morning and someone was putting their earpiece in and was like “thanks to you”. It's a bit ridiculous that people think it was my fault that he is finally cracking down on things.
