I got fired for refusing to use my own vehicle for work

For context: I live in Switzerland, and used to work for a food delivering service. Price of gas here, for reference, is currently at roughly 2.25 CHF per litre, which translates to 2.29 USD. So, for four years I've worked there with the company car. Late in 2021, the company decided their own cars were not making enough money to justify the expense of having them in smaller cities (like the one I work in) and decided to transfer all the company cars to a couple of big cities while demanding everyone in the smaller ones work with their own vehicles, offering to pay an extra on the salary for the use of the private vehicle.

How much were they offering extra? 3.50 CHF per hour, but each hour was counted exclusively for the time we were actually working on an order. For comparison, our salary (19 CHF per hour) was hourly for the whole time were were active, waiting for orders included.

Now, my car when driving for a whole hour consumes something like 10 litres. To refill my tank after an hour of work, I would need to be paid 22.50 CHF per hour on top of my salary, and that's without counting all the obligations that come with having a car, such as insurance, circulation tax and highway tax. And they wanted to pay us only 3.50 CHF per hour of work. That meant I would have to add of my own pocket, counting only gas, 19.50 CHF every hour.

Let me re-iterate for those who don't like math: this company wanted me to work for NEGATIVE 0.50 CHF per hour.

Now, granted, there would be slow days where we don't drive as much, so we wouldn't use any gas while still being paid our hourly salary, but seeing as ideally the company would want us to be actively following up on order for the entire time we're on duty I feel justified in claiming that. We've had months were the entire time one was on duty, they would be doing orders.
