I got no-showed on a phone interview.

Exactly what it says. Got a phonecall yesterday from a job I applied for. Asked me if I'd be free for a phone interview today. I said yes. So I got everything ready, set aside time, cancelled plans, everything you do when you have a interview. Nothing. I checked my emails and messages to see if maybe they'd told me they had to cancel for something. Nothing. I waited for a full half hour before I gave up and went about my day. And I had my phone with me all day; I didn't get a single phonecall. I'm sure some people will say I should have phoned them to chase the interview up, but 1) I'm pay as you go so it would have cost me money. 2) If I go to a face-to-face interview and the interviewer doesn't turn up after half an hour, you bet your ass…

Dunno if that's the right attitude to have and I know this isn't exactly the end of the world, but I'm just mad as hell about it. Not even a courtesy call to say they'll be late or an apology afterwards. Just outright ghosted.

I know company's don't actually care about their workers, but you think they'd at least pretend for a potential new hire, y'know.
