A couple of weeks ago, I got a very nice promotion in my work place. Wages were not discussed, but this position has a lot of responsibility and was just assuming that the pay would be much better (it requires working extra hours and audits (one-twice a year) with our regulators) but I guess I was wrong, today I found out that they are offering me 100 EUR extra a month.
So, now I have triple the responsibilities, double the work but they are only paying me 100 EUR more for all this. I'm not staying here doing all this for 100 EUR more.
My question is, is it worth it pointing my boss that I'm disappointed by the wage and doesn't motivate me at all? or shall I just try to leave as quick as possible and that's it?
To be honest, getting the experience would be amazing, but I'm totally underpaid… I was before and not even a promotion is putting me in the position of making decent money. Everything is getting ridiculous expensive. I would say that 75% of the workers here are making more money than me with less responsibility positions.
Any tips on how discuss it?
