I work in hotels, I’ve worked in every position in a hotel from front desk to assistant general manager/operations manager. I however have never been the GM. So I was thrilled when I got recruited by a local company that owns over a dozen hotels, and the pre interview questions were quality answers. Q and A about my resume, which indeed provides a solid work history in hotels.
So tell me why….when I walk into the hotel for this initial interview I am handed a paper job application to fill out? I mean I understand it’s often a beginning of a persons personal file, but I chose to not fill it out completely and referenced during the interview that most of the other information is on the printed out resume they were holding aswell.
Got a follow up interview, but how high do these paper job applications go?
