I got written up for “not meeting company standards” one week after coming back from a miscarriage leave

Last week was my first week back working at my warehouse job after being on leave for having a miscarriage. I am trained in multiple positions at this job and one of the positions requires you to walk a lot (over 30k steps a night) and constantly go up and down stairs all night long. Last week was my first week back working at my warehouse job after being on leave for having a miscarriage. I am trained in multiple positions at this job and one of the positions requires you to walk a lot (over 30k steps a night) and constantly go up and down stairs all night long.

I asked to not be put into this position. I'm still tired, fatigued both mentally and physically. I get out of breath really easily, especially when walking up and down steps a lot. But even though I brought up these concerns, I was put here anyway for 5 hours of one of my shifts.

Fast forward to this week and I'm getting told I didn't do my job fast enough when I was put in that shift last week so now I am going to get written up. With the stress of everything else, I just wanted to cry or scream.

The whole icing on the cake is my job is making such a huge deal of October being mental health awareness month, but yet is making me feel like my own mental health and feelings on the matter don't matter.

Thanks to my job for making me feel more like a number than an actual person with feelings. A person who just went though a really traumatic experience and is still recovering from it.
