I had to resign, and that makes me feel sad and angry.

I've been jobless since the pandemic started. Recently I got into a job that seemed promising, turn out, I was wrong. I'm a graphic designer, I was supposed to do graphic design, but instead, my bosses wanted me to falsify some documents. The first time they came with this they told me that they needed to fake some document so that it appears that a certain corporation has the tools and equipment to develop a certain task. I told them no, because that's not in my area of expertise and I dont' have the knowledge to do such a task, but actually I knew this was wrong and I didn't wanted to do it. They seemed dissapointed but not surprised. A week passes, I do little to no graphic design at all, looks like there are no projects that need my help.

Just today they come with another document: “Hey, I need you to modify this PDF, I want you to change this number for this other number”. It was a shipping order from who-knows-who and that package had who-knows-what. At this point I start to get upset because I already told them this isn't what I signed for, but they keep coming with this kind of stuff. So I politely decline the task and tell them to please just approach me when it has to do with my actual job.

Boss was angry, he told that “You have to be more dynamic with the activities in the office”. At this point I already know that I have to resign. Team is great, I met some cool people in just a week, but the management is awful, they want things done just the moment they order it without following a plan or a calendar of activities, so the products they deliver always come out awful. So I write a proffesional message but this time letting them know that, basically, that this is it.

Why am I angry? I live in Mexico, and a lot of corporations and even small business have some shady practices that sadly involves their staff. Some people just want to work, we just want our 9-5, do what we are there for and get paid, that's it. Not everyone wants to be greedy at the expense of their workers or co-workers.

tl;dr: I left my job because they wanted me to modify some pappers in a illegal way which made me unconfortable because I just want to do my job, and that made me feel sad and very angry.

Note: Sorry for the lack of details, at this moment I want to be precautious. Also, sorry for some typos, english is not my main language.
