I handed in my notice today.

I had typed up my notice twice, informed them I was leaving over a year ago but agreed to stay if I was given the opportunity for progression. But today I've had enough. The company put out a company wide email that I picked up at home telling us all about how amazing the bonuses our clients are getting, how sales are booming, how we're busier than ever. Which yeah great. Except our pay has stagnated. We don't get £250 John Lewis vouchers. Sales are booming because we are working our arses off providing a service that most of us will agree is exceptional. We're busier than ever because we're taking on more contracts than the staff can handle meaning staff turnover is through the roof. These are not things to rub in the faces of the people working flat out. I had to take time off recently for exhaustion.…

I had to take time off recently for exhaustion. I'm not work shy and I love my job but my sickness has increased with the workload because I am absolutely exhausted.

So today I handed in my notice. 4 weeks. It gives me 4 weeks to either find something else or work out a plan. They've emailed me asking how they can change my mind ha!
