I hate that my corporate job is expecting me to literally dedicate my life to them

So, I (F24) graduated last year, my first job is in a big4 company, the pay isn’t great, it’s the last end of the average salaries for fresh grads. The thing is these ppl expect to work after the working hrs, like 8am-6pm wasn’t enough, aaaand they expect me to work during weekends as well, which is not happening. One of my colleagues has been in the firm for two yrs now, they haven’t promoted her, last time I saw her she looked anorexic, dark circles covering her face and she looked EXHAUSTED, so why should I, who only joined 10 months ago, overwork myself just for the hopes of approval from these greedy managers

I’m currently looking for another job, I’ll land a job that pays well and respects my time. Finger crossed.
