I hate this community

I feel like every post on this community is just a victimization feedback loop between yourselves. I agree with the sentiment in some cases however sitting on Reddit and complaining about it isn't doing anything productive. Regardless of what state of life you're in and what your circumstances are at the current moment there is always something you can do. If you feel you're being oppressed financially and being underpaid maybe find a way to fix that instead of complaining saying “my employer only pays me ___ for ___ >:( how unfair I'm a victim and the system is against me as an employee” Like I said I agree with the sentiment and there's a conversation to be had between workers and employers but on a personal level within your own head being the victim of another does you no good. If you feel you're being oppressed financially and being underpaid maybe find a way to fix that instead of complaining saying “my employer only pays me ___ for ___ >:( how unfair I'm a victim and the system is against me as an employee”

Like I said I agree with the sentiment and there's a conversation to be had between workers and employers but on a personal level within your own head being the victim of another does you no good.

Yeah it sucks that you're being paid $13 an hour when you're doing the work of someone who should be getting paid $18 an hour. Guess what? Whining about it will do nothing. You know what you can do about it? Anything you want, you just have to be willing to find a way.

Not everybody is born with a silver spoon in their mouth and not every person with money is an evil soul sucking person. They just had the ability to position themselves correctly in the system and get to where they want. Just as Steve Jobs could have been some loser who cried about how he got kicked out of his own company, he didn't. He went and started his own.

Edit: my entire point is people are going to exploit you. What are you going to do about it though? Sit and cry about how many responsibilities you have, how a little money you have, and how all you can do is work because you don't have enough money for bills? Or do something about it? It's cool to complain about how much you hate your job and your employer. It's even cooler when you're able to do something about it.
