I'm currently looking for a job. The biggest job board is indeed & Canada job Bank. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that these job boards let employers leave you on read. On indeed, they have a section to show that you applied & it will tell you if you were viewed, not selected or it just won't tell you anything. I wish job boards were on the searchers side. They could make pay scale mandatory, they could remove postings if the employer ignores applicants & doesn't let them know anything, citing that since the employer is ignoring applications it's assumed the job is not available. They could revolutionize the job search if they all did it together
I know job boards make their money off the employers & not the employees so I know nothing will ever change. I'm just so sick of this job search.
