I have been in the data field for 10+ years, I build stuff and I love it. I am very fortunate to being doing what I love. What I hate is when I have to work for a public speaking major with no technical experience whatsoever.
HOW???? I mean how… On God’s green Earth do CLOWNS get into technical leadership roles and drive up costs, and can’t articulate ROI on any effort this person forces me to work on? COOL PROJECTS do not always generate returns, especially in finance. How do you stay in a leadership role for over a year, without actually producing anything of value for the firm?
I’m more motivated to break rocks at this point. Good exercise is great ROI. I really could have gone to school for basket weaving, or Klingon, and I would have been further ahead in life.
