I have no idea what is wrong with me. I’m a hard worker and rather personable but I cannot seem to get any full time job (for really any job) to hire me.
Right now I make my living as a freelance cartoonist but I’m not making ends meet. I’m desperate to break into something different, I got my masters in 2019 and, granted it’s sort of niche, my classmates have gone on to successful jobs. I focused on data analytics in grad school and even got a Google certification for good measure and still, no one will even look at me.
Right now I’m waiting on a possible position with the USPTO but it’s been near silence. It’s incredibly demoralizing, I can’t even land a job at my local grocery.
Everyone around me is talking about how unemployment is the lowest ever and how jobs are aggressively hiring. Anyone else in a similar position?
