My profession allows to me work from home and I like it because commute time is saved plus I don't have to pay to get to work and such. Recently I the owners of the business started asking workers to return to the office and some workers do that and I respect their choice. However today one of this workers asked me why I haven't come to the office and I was honest and told him the reasons and that I don't see any point in that; to which he replied (non jokingly) that I need to grow up. (He is my age by the way)
I told him that he needs to grow up instead (I know best come back ever). And we kinda stopped this conversation.
But now I am thinking- am I actually being childish by not coming into the office? I though the choice if a person should come into the office or not should be personal.
