So this has happened and I don't know what to do here. Why should I submit my bank account statements? Is that even legal? Why do employers want to compare the previous salary so as to decide on the future package?
And should I tell about my previous salary in the interview or is it supposed to be confidential?
What answer should I give when I am asked about how much salary do I get and what is my future expectation?
And should one lie about the previous salary? Do they find out if somebody is lying about it?
