I work for DCS, and we do a quarterly meeting to discuss who will be on call. We all have to choose 3 weekends, and a holiday or two. I’m the newest gal. I get it, I anticipated having to work a holiday. Picking order is seniority. So, I got stuck with the holidays listed above. 8am-8am the next day. We don’t have back up on call either. My family lives just far enough away that I can’t realistically go on those days. I get it, I’m 22 and no children but yeesh, this is gonna suck.
