I was fired this weekend because I went to HR to complain about my hours. I have been working valet for a whole year and have been told my my boss that I’m the best employee he has. I made a complaint and then that day I went back to the hotel to see if he was around and asked the front desk person (girl he went on a date with back whenever) and she proceeded to ask if I was alright and I said “no I’m pissed off.” Her and I have talked before at the hotel and I remember her expressing some frustration as well so when I said I was pissed off I didn’t think anything of it. I left because my boss was no longer on property. Next day I am taken off the schedule and I call HR again and they said a front desk person has filed a complaint again ME. They hear my side and said they’d get back to me. Next thing I know I’m off schedule completely. Just wondering what I can do now…I have baby on way and really need the money. One day I’m the best employee and everyone loves me at the hotel and now I’m not even allowed on property because of the “incident.” Let me know what I can do.
