My company's attendance system is 8 points and you're out. I accumulated 19 in 6 or 7 months however 17 of those were gained when I was living with my abusive and controlling ex, I tried to tell HR that I was calling out because I had to let bruising fade and they said I should have come to them when it was happening, I told them I had no car to get me home because I carpooled with my current boyfriend and asked them wtf I was supposed to do if I wasn't allowed to complete the day. They told me to either call a family member or ask my boyfriend to take a dive and have a half point used to take me back. They had security follow me halfway to the door and watched me leave. I wasn't allowed in the building even though WE ALL GOT THE NOTIFICATION THERE WAS AN ACTIVE SHOOTER IN THE CITY AREA. Fuck Urban Outfitters and all its associates.
