So I've been at my job for a year now, and I just got my performance review. My boss was very positive for the whole thing. No negative feedback, and was telling me all about how great I've been. But for every category I only got “meets expectations”. Because all of my categories were “meets expectations” my raise this year – at a time when inflation has been over 7% – was less than 3%. Thanks for the 4% pay cut I guess…
