I just handed in my notice

I resigned via email, we don't have an HR team as it's a small office that's part of a larger group. I started this graduate job in January and was promised training as well as extra holidays and a bonus. I had my probation extended from 6 to 12 months after my personal life started to affect my work life and caused me to not be able to focus. When I asked for a mental health day, I was told no. The extension means I don't qualify for a bonus. I have requested training and have been denied it every time. I was told there are no stupid questions but every question I ask gets me a penalty of some sort if it's deemed to be something I could figure out on my own. My boss asked for a meeting to discuss my resignation and said he was sad to…

My boss asked for a meeting to discuss my resignation and said he was sad to see me go because the work I do is great and he knows I have a “bright future” ahead of me. It boggles my mind that if I was getting all the work done ahead of time and doing it well, that it matters that I wasn't fully focused all of the time. I am beyond overqualified for this job. The office is becoming more and more strict on what we can and can't do such as morning coffee meetings once a week (deemed inappropriate) and unaccompanied site visits (they can't check up and make sure I'm doing what I say I am).

They didn't hire someone because “he wouldn't fit in with the rest of the team” (he was an openly gay man in an office full of straight men). When 3/11 of the office staff were women, complaints were jokingly made that there were too many women and the next hire had better be a man. Before the MDs PA started working, I filled in. I'm constantly made fun of for being “woke” because I have my pronouns in my social media bios, because of my sexuality and because I dispute blatant racism in the office chat (everyone is white).

When my old company (who are incredible to work for) contacted me offering me a 4k pay increase, flexible work hours, private healthcare cover as well as other benefits and a guaranteed annual bonus for the same entry level position, I jumped. The probation extension means I only have to work here for 3 more weeks instead of 3 months. October 3rd can't come soon enough!
