I work at a factory with tons of old people and I'm just needing to vent cause today really pissed me off.
Every job I've ever had I've run into the “I WANNA WORK MESELF TO DEATH! I LOVE OVERTIME! YOURE LAZY IF YOU DONT!”
Tbh, I got shit outside of work to take care of and shit, I study and shit. Anyway today was a real problem.
My apartment was literally flooding LOL I went in not to get a point and explained the situation (I didn't know what it was at the time) and this fucking bitch who always says sideways shit about me being “lazzzzY” or me wanting to go home, she said “he just got here, already trying to go home” WHILE MY FUCKING APARTMENT IS FLOODING.
I used all my towels and stayed up all night combating the flood that morning at work maintenance went to my apartment and it turned out it was the neighbors apartment flooding into mine. They said the apartment was AWFUL, like completely drenched.
I feel like its just so fucking nosy to critic your coworkers for having a life outside of work in general but you never know what your fellow workers are going through at home or in the real world.
It just really fucking breaks my heart that people see work as life these days…
