Sort of anti work- I've always been proud of my career. I have no really formal education, but, as an electrician I worked my way from 1st year apprentice in 2001 to sought after start up and commissioning expert for wastewater treatment plants. I've worked as much as 1500hrs of overtime in a single year with a record of 93 straight days of work (I'm not proud but I'm not ashamed. Facts are facts) I was managing startup for multiple projects in North America and also for the last 5 years I've been working a side hustle passion project… The side hustle has become the full hustle and I'm leaving the corporate construction life behind. Having both battling for my attention had me “quiet-quitting” for the last 3 months and today was the day I said no more… I think I'm gonna miss it but so stoked to be the master of my own domain. Wish me luck folks. The pay cut is extremely deep. Lol. Much love to everyone here! I love this sub.
